In the summer of 2012, a new, wooden lookout tower was constructed in the Frýdlant region, in the atypical shape of a dome-topped cylinder.

It was built from larch wood. Unlike most other lookout towers, it has a double winding staircase, so tourists ascending the steps will not encounter those that are on their descent. The steps number 99 in one direction and 90 in the other.

Frýdlant Lookout Tower on the top of Resselův Vrch

The stone lookout tower on the top of Resselův Vrch, situated to the north of Frýdlant, was built in 1907.
